Accessibility statement
Medication safety help should be available to everyone — including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or an interpreter. This page explains what we do on this website and during our visits, and how to tell us when something is in your way.
This website
We aim for WCAG 2.1 level AA across the site. In practice that means:
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator
- Headings, landmarks, and form labels are structured for screen readers
- Text sizes are relative — zooming to 200% doesn't break the layout
- Colour contrast meets AA, and information is never conveyed by colour alone
- Animations are disabled for visitors who set "reduce motion"
- Forms explain their errors in text, next to the field that needs attention
Some third-party content (for example embedded maps) may not fully meet these standards; we provide the same information in text wherever we can.
Our visits and documents
- Interpreters and family support are welcome — tell us your preferred language when booking and we'll allow extra time. A family member or carer can join any visit.
- Hearing or vision support: we can provide large-print medication lists and action plans, and we're happy to communicate by SMS or email instead of phone.
- No stairs required on your part — we come to you, and the visit happens wherever you're comfortable.
- Plain language: your action plan is written to be understood, not to impress.
Found a barrier?
If any part of this website or our service is hard for you to use, please tell us — it genuinely helps. Call 0402 077 548 or use the contact form, and we'll do our best to fix it and to offer you the information in a format that works for you.
